Milica Gallardo Petkovich

As Contour's Data Scientist, she is committed to supporting Contour's Futures and R&D Portfolio, through research analysis of emerging and disruptive technologies. 

About Mili

Milica brings an exciting and unique background that will provide Contour with new knowledge, experiences, and skills.  Milica is currently studying her master’s degree in Data Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Canberra (UC).  She began studying her master’s degree due to her passion for numbers and how it can be used to help people and organisations. This sparked her interest in Machine Learning and AI. 

Prior to studying at UC, Milica graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Financial and Global Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey, in the United States.  While studying at Rutgers, Milica worked as Vice President of Internal Relations and Director of Alumni Relations at a Professional Business Fraternity, Treasurer of the Latin American Women’s Organisation, and Ambassador of Rutgers University Office of Undergraduate Admissions.  Her education and experiences bring a global perspective to the Meikai team.

  What is her Project of Passion?

Milica’s current project of passion is Blockchain.  She is currently exploring the future use cases of Blockchain beyond Cryptocurrency and NFTs.  Look out as she is currently working on some exciting projects in this space for Contour. 

What does she like to do outside of work?

When Milica is not studying or working, she loves being active.  She enjoys running, going to the gym and heading to the beach.  She also loves music and spends her time curating cool music playlists.
